Choose your size with confidence using our two-step process. Use Charts 1 and 2 then CHECK THE FINISHED GARMENT SIZE on Charts 3 and 4
When you take your time to measure accurately, you will be rewarded with a well fitting uniform. There is generally no need to order a larger size as we have added all the additional fabric needed to give a full flowing uniform for Tai Chi practise and performance.
We have learned from our female and male customers from all over the world that getting the right size around and the right length in the same uniform has required us to be innovative in the way we offer our sizes. At Tai Chi Tranquility you first choose the size that fits you around the body and secondly you enter your height. With these two pieces of information we make sure that your Tai Chi clothes fit you perfectly around your body AND that your sleeve, jacket, pants and crotch lengths are all correct for your height: including the necessary additional fabric for fold at the wrist and ankle. To see the finished garment measurements see directly below these 2 charts.
We make the length of sleeves, jackets and pants based on average arm and leg lengths for height. If you have either short or long legs please go up or down a height size to compensate. Our 'around' sizes are based on standard US men's sizes.
